Marley and Me-A True Story of Love and Commitment

This is a movie I had been dieing to see every since I saw the main characters of this movie on the Oprah Winfrey show! Marley & Me stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston two of my favorite actors. They had such a fun time talking about all the funny stories of trying to film this movie that being a dog owner myself I knew this was a movie my whole family would come to adore!

Now I should probably give you a heads up on two things, one I have a male dog just like Marley and I mean he looks exactly like Marley but his name is Max (you can see photos of him below) and two if you are a dog lover or dog owner please bring a box of kleenex with you! There are moments in this movie where you stomach is hurting from laughing so hard at this funny and at time nearotic puppy! I will try not to give to much of this movie away as I really would love for all of you to see it! And please comment me back here if you saw it and loved it as much as we did!

Ok the story or plot line starts out with a newly married couple just starting out who just purchaed their first home, and got their first jobs as reporters. On the advice of one of Owen's friends he decides getting a puppy might hold his wife's hormones in check for a couple of years by caring for a puppy instead of a baby. So off they go to pick up that adorable and fluffy Marley! From the moment Marley enters the big screen you are kept on your toes laughing and marveling at all the trouble ONE little puppy can cause! It had my daughters and I in stitches because I can honestly say there was not one incident that Marley did that our own dog Max did not perform! LOL

For instance there was

• Marley knocking over and eating the puppy food all over the floor-CHECK
• Marley knocking over and eating out of the trash can-CHECK
• Marley running around with underwear in his mouth-CHECK
• Marley swallowing something he shouldnt of and then trying to retrieve it out of poop-CHECK CHECK lol

You get the point! Marley is quite the troublemaker! This movie takes you through the lives of this young couple as they add to their family and how Marley and his antics just blend right in and he becomes a beloved member to everyone including the kids! It has been a long time coming that I could actually take my kids to a heartwarming, funny, touching movie without having to worry about bad language or nudity. This was very refreshing movie that left me wanting to run home to my own boy Max and just spoil him rotten for being such a wonderful dog, friend and family member!

This is a wonderful movie for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. Be prepared to laugh and cry and just throughly enjoy this movie from beginning to end! On my five star rating I have to give Marley & Me a 5++++ excellent movie take your family this weekend you will be so glad that you did! Now enjoy some photos of my boy "Max"
